Jalan Jalan

James’s fiancée has just died suddenly, and on his sojourn to Indonesia to teach English he is torn between his sad but familiar past and a future that doesn’t yet show any signs of real hope. It doesn’t help that she is haunting him.
Adapted from the award-winning novel by British author Mike Stoner, inspired by his real-life experiences.  “Jalan Jalan” is Indonesian, meaning to take a walk with no particular destination.

The Grief Ranch

Six people who have just suffered severe losses go to a ranch for special grief therapy. But the pregnant therapist goes into early labor, leaving the struggling mourners to find comfort and help in each other—if they can. (69 pages so far.)
